Sat Nav Dash Mount Mk6

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just looking for some ideas on mounting a tomtom in a Mk6 Fiesta.

I would like to be able to put it just above the central vents where the little grooved coin shelf is, but the grooves mean laying an adhesive disk down wouldn't really work (any ideas??). The device actually fits in terms of width, in that little shelf, so its just a case of mounting.

The reason being we're planning a 7500 mile road trip in Europe and we don't fancy having to remove everything (for security reasons) every time we stop. So in theory, if we could run the power lead through the dash, and leave an inconspicuous mount on the dash (rather than a suction cup on the windscreen) then we'd only have to remove the device itself.

Thanks in advance!
