Start Up Problem

Featured Replies

Hi I have 55 plate mondeo with start up problem. Before I get to the problem the mondeo has had brand new stater motor, battery and alternator.

When I go to start all I get is the starter clicking and no start up. If I run a wire from the battery to the starter it will start.
Any idea's on what it could be.

I have also checked the wire going from the battery to the alternator there is no cuts or burns to the wire.
Iv not had the car long. But had this problem with previous owner he said it was fine till he came back from a 2 month holiday then it wouldn't start. Could this course a problem inside the wireing

Thanks for any help

Have you checked/replaced the starter and/or ignition relays?
