Fiesta Security

Featured Replies

Just looking for what others have, with regards to security. Currently own a Fiesta with keyless entry, and push start button. Use to have a Clifford Concept G4 alarm/immobilizer system on my previous Clio.

Anyone using steering locks, like a Disklok, etc?

A few in here using dislock all I've done is hide the obd port so alarm will go off and they can't shut it down untill they find it lol but not many thefts up here

How did you manage to "hide" the OBD port?

Unclip it from its mounting and tie it up behind the dash, even better is to put the port into a box and to get hold of another port to replace the original, if it's missing they'll know its not too far away.

I also use a disklok as a visual deterent.

Great idea with the dead OBD port! :)

I've managed to source a spare OBD port, from a scrap dealer. Shall be hiding the real port up in the dash, then fitting a dummy OBD in its place! :)

I did wonder actually whether it's worth keeping the standard immobiliser or whether I should go for a tracker or upgraded security system for my new fiesta. Any suggestions?

£30 mate, it's solidly built. You get 2 keys, with a reference number (should you need replacements)

I've got one of those too, had it years. Much more practical than a complete wheel lock
