sorry if this is the wrong section , but I could do with some help

I'm in the middle of engine conversion on a mk6 escort with an mk5 rs2000 engine and box , but my lower rear box mount is split

( the one mounted on the subframe )

Where can I get a new one ?

Checked eBay and they're only got vibra-technics fast road stuff at about £200 a mount!:o

Any idea where I can get a new standard one from ?

Does any one know the finis code?

It's not an engine mount.

It's a torque / roll restrictor does nothing to mount engine, just stops it rolling backwards under acceleration. That's why you are Having problems probably because you are searching for engine mount.

Ah ok ... :) thank you for the response , sorry abit of a blonde moment, I thought it was an engine/transmission mount , found one now I know what it's called thanks again

Lots of people think it's an engine mount, even on car parts websites it's listed under engine mount... But it's not an engine mount and does nothing to mount the engine.

So like you have found you will have more luck searching for a engine roll restrictor.
