Hi I have a ford focus 2005 1.6 when I start the car everything is fine for 2seconds then the temp petroleum and rev counter gauges all drop to zero for about 5seconds then everything is normal, also the clock on my CD player needs setting every day, can anyone help me with this. Thank you.

    As the "clock on the CD player" is just the display for the clock in the cluster, the 2 issues are related. The cluster seems to be either losing memory, or going through a reset - which probably means it is shot and needs to be replaced. Maybe someone has a better idea, but once you fix the cluster, the clock will work again, also.
