Fitting Ford Nx Sat Nav

Featured Replies

I have a 2009 Titanium X Sport which came factory fitted with the Sony 6CD DAB head unit. It also had fitted the Bluetooth+Voice Control module (8M5T-19G488-AL).

Last weekend I swapped out the Bluetooth module and replaced it with a 8M5T-19C112-AT part and connected the associated cable to get USB connectivity which worked straight away with no extra configuration.

I plan to fit the Ford NX Sat Nav unit (Part No: 7S7T-18K931-BL).

The part I'm stuck at is I've seen people referring to a jumper cable they had to fit so that voice functioned correctly as the NX has it's own microphone. I'm not exactly sure what this cable is and it's part number. I'm thinking it's a 22 pin plug and the part number may be 1592581 however I'm not 100% sure.

Does anyone have any idea what this part is?

Thanks.
