Update Ford Fiesta 01/2011 Econetic

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm new here because all my questions on google are redirected to this forum ! :-)

I just have a little question, i searched while a few days without founding a real reply..

My fiesta have bluetooth & aux support but no usb.

I want to do the module update to have bluetooth music streaming.

On the radio, in Aux, i only have the input line for 3.5mm.

I found the module under the glove box, it has the mini usb port.

Then, i do a homemade usb cable: mini-usb to usb female.

But, when i plug my usb key, she isn't recognize at all..

If i try with a hardrive, i see the little led ON but nothing on the screen..

Then, my question is: Can i do the update with this mini-usb port without activating anything at my ford dealer ?

Thank you

EDIT: I think that my cable is wrong... i haven't soldered pin 4 + 5, then it's not an usb host cabe (otg) , it could not recognize my usb key

Then, to be sure, i haven't anything else to do ?
