Mondeo Estate Mk2 Rear Bushs

Featured Replies

hi there again

i wondered if any of you could shed some light on changing the rear bushs,

my rear tie rod bushs are knackered both sides and my rear Long front upper arm bushs are knackered also.

i can buy all the bushs from ford for around £40 but they look a hassle to change. and im not sure what bush removal/ insert tools to buy or hire.

so i rang around a few garages today and they want £45 + vat per tie rod bush providing i remove from car myself. and most places recommend changing the complete rear Long front upper arm but they are around £50 each.

has anyone got a simple/cheaper way of changing these.

ive added a picture and its number 19 and 3.

thanks in advance

pete
