Just got a 1998 GTi Estate in radiant red, new clutch with new MOT and other bits for £865.Not bad condition, no welding (underneath very clean), 2 owners (2nd owner had it from 99-09 with service history),then he sold it to this mechanic who just sorted out some bits (he was 3rd owner for two weeks) then me now. Its done 115K. Engine still tight. Just a little bit of body work to bring up to scratch, but happy anyway. Live in West Sussex.
