What Service

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Come June I'll need to get a MOT, service and air con service as well.

Now I know it's early but I'm trying to work out what kind of service I need for the car

I got my 2008 fiesta about two years ago. When I brought it the Ford garage had done a service on it (not sure if it was a minor, interim or full etc). I got a minor service the last time I had my MOT.

The car is up to about 27500miles from 15500 when I first brought it.

So with said would a minor service be all I need or possibly at least a interium or full service?

Regards

Ed

normally its 12,500 miles or one year. So at 12.5 and 25k you would have interim services, then at 37.5k you would have a major service. Likewise, if you have it done on its first and second birthday its minor, then its third a major (mileage irrelevant).

By years, your on a minor service, by mileage too. but you can none the less request any service you fancy and pay the premium that comes with it.

I would say go for an interim, it covers most the bases!
