Issues Playing Music Through Cd/aux

Featured Replies

Hi

Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I've got my iPhone connected to the usb in my car and trying to play my music on it through the car stereo.

It's fine when I'm playing through Bluetooth but if connect to usb it won't play as its charging.

So through Bluetooth and phone not connected to usb works fine.

When connected to usb i can select cd/aux and it brings up what's playing, the timer moves as the tracks playing but no sound comes out.

I've looked through the manual but just gives basics on how to play.

I have attached a picture of the cd/aux

Hope someone can help.

You need the "y-cable" (Apple Dock or Apple Lightning to USB AND 3.5mm, just as the user manual states under connecting an Ipod ...), or a software update to your connectivity (Bluetooth and USB ) box. Connecting a cable from the phone jack to the car's Aux jack could also work, but I'm not sure what the Iphone does.

Try swiping up from bottom of screen on iPhone. Press the AirPlay button above the calculator and camera icons and selects either "usb..." Or "sync" and it might help!
