Clanging Front Passenger Side Wheel, Mk7

Featured Replies

Hi,
A couple of days ago my 58 plate 1.4 diesel developed a clanging noise whenever hitting a bump in the road. The noise can be heard in the video linked below, particularly loud around the 14 second mark.

I jacked it up and had a look in the wheel area but nothing looked amiss, gave the anti-roll bar link a shake, and did the 12/6 o'clock shake of the wheel and everything seemed fine. Picture attached is of the offending area.

Anyone heard of this problem or had it before?
