Bluetooth Audio Problems

Featured Replies

Hi guys. I have a 2010 fiesta with standard head unit. I'm having problems controlling the music from my Samsung galaxy s4 via Bluetooth. I can control it from the phone but not using the actual stereo controls. I used to be able to do this but for some reason it's stopped working. Please help! Many thanks.

Try resetting your bluetooth module (behind glovebox - see http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/32147-guide-video-how-to-removereseatreset-bluetooth-usb-module-mk7/ )

While its disconnected, pull the radio, display and bluetooth fuses. Your owners manual (somewhere about page 80) should tell you which those are. Once all three are out, put the cable back in your bluetooth module, then put the three fuses back and turn the car on. You'll need to turn the audio system back on (just press down on the volume dial).

Hey thanks a lot. I'll have a go tomorrow

Hi mate. Just a quick update. I tried resetting Bluetooth module and disconnecting the fuses like you suggested but no joy. I'm going to try reinstalling the software update either today or tomorrow. It's so frustrating. It's also playing up with my iPod, it's not shuffling the songs properly, i.e.when I go to play all songs on the iPod it only plays the first album. Hope I get it sorted soon.

Did you buy a car or an mp3 player?

A car, but I still like things to work the way they're supposed to
