Rough Running 1.0 Ecoboost

Featured Replies

Hello,

One of my cylinders isn't running right, I've used an ultrasonic tool to isolate the cylinder. Swapped the coil packs around and no change. Next I want to see how clean the plug is but I don't know what size socket I need. The exhaust is very sooty and if I let it idle for a while on my drive way all I can smell is unburnt petrol from the rear end.

Could someone tell me what size socket I need for the spark plugs on at 1.0 ecoboost please?

Thanks.

Small spark plug socket, think they are 16mm or something like that. The Ecoboost plugs are quite long threaded.

Isn't the vehicle under warranty

it certainly should be, or at least if not fully, they should offer a good will fix or discount!
