Wheel Wobble At High Speed

Featured Replies

Fiesta zetec s tdci 2007

I have wheel wobble at 70+ mph .

I've changed anti roll bar bushes, had wheels balanced on new alloys.

Had tracking done, replaced track rod ends and inner tie rods.

Replaced nearside drive shaft but still shaking.

Anyone else had similar problems and cure.

Have you checked bottom ball joints? or wishbone bushes?

Did mean to say new wishbones as well but forgot

Do you feel it through the steering wheel or the whole car?

Steering wheel.

Not so long passed mot

try switching front wheels to rear, you may have a slight buckle or out of shape tyre, but maybe not enough to notice, will eliminate the wheels from it, narrow down the possibilities

Will try that.

Thanks

let me know how it goes

  • Author

Will do .

Thanks for advice

have you checked alignment? and swapped the wheels front and back?

I suspect you may have a bad tyre at this point.
