can the speed limiter be remapped to increment in 1mph rather than 5mph

current method allows only 30mph or 35mph

or convoluted way whilst on move - speed lim button , hold speed at 33mph whilst pressing down arrow !

c4 exclusive used to retain last set speed eg 33mph and pressing lim button toggled it back on or off... and memorised on restarting engine !

My Speed limiter does move up/down by 1, I was using it today I had to restrict to 40 mph, but kicked it down to 39 as I was in a long 4 mile average speed cameras on motorway roadworks

i think the early ones ( is yours 2012 ) allowed it and in there wisdom they made it 5mph steps.

so my query still stands if the latest version can be tweaked to step in 1mph

Mine locks at whatever speed I'm doing but once you reach round numbers it goes in 5mph increments.

Cruise control goes in 1mph increments though.

so like me you have to drive to , and hold the chosen speed .. etc.

that is how its designed ( badly - I think ) ....... but can it be tweaked so that it can be set BEFORE starting on town journeys to say 33mph

Not known but worth a twiddle to find out.

My mate has a Peugeot 209 and his can step 1mph on the limiter but it goes down to 19mph minimum.

anyone techy know if a diagnostics menu can alter this ?

I suspect if anything its built into the GEM so perhaps a future edition of the likes of "ELM Config" can resolve it. Perhaps mention it to Civil-ZZ and he may be able to tell you if its something he can accomodate, or the developers of FOCCUS
