Looks like a good base with potential... A Escort van looks proper sorted once modded. The local garages around here used to tool around in modded Escort vans back in the day, looked fantastic. I'll be keeping an eye on this build!

Cheers goodkat was gonna flip the rear axle but gonna use Owen springs and send a set of 75 rear leafs to the to be decambered as they will be stiffer I will be at fordfair on the stand as long as I get my ticket this week and the van may only be in primer grey depends on the cost of the black and the silver metal flake and I'm gonna spray it myself and hopefully get the turbo with manifolds and intercooler by then to as it's a bit to slow in a year or so going to look at either building a 2.0 black top zetec turbo engine or a mondeo St tdci lump and box depends on cost and time frame as St tdci could be a weekend job and no need to change fuel lines and tank

Finally got my new tyres so all 4 wheels on van with tuner antitheft nuts all round and fitted the passenger cobra at last and made a good start on the side skirts

2.0 mondeo sorted as my donor vehicle for my van build now so my full stainless is going on lovely decat and induction filter just not the time before the show

I have found an escort zetec so tomorrow I am off to remove its whole loom and I have found I do not need to change the sump after trying my stainless manifold so less impact on the wallet so just the Rs turbo clutch kit to buy and crazy transformation from 1.8d to 2.0 zetec blacktop with 1.8d ib5 flywheel and Rs turbo clutch Mondeo ecu and escort loom and hopefully my old rs2000 cluster look out festa st's van coming past
