Hi Mate, I actually have the Fiesta 1.0 non turbo version, does the book cover anything relevant to it, or is it just the same engine, etc.

Any info in particular your after?

Hi Mate, I was just wondering for when it comes to having plugs changed, etc., also wondered about the cooling system, as I have heard that the thermostat housing can crack. I just like knowing a bit about the engine in case there is a problem in the future etc.

Not got manual, but spark plugs need changing every3 yrs or 37.5k whichever sooner, if you go to ford etis website you can view service shedules for your car.

Not heard anything about thermostat housing cracking, but as with all 1.0 ecoboost if you have a leak stop car and do not use until fixed, the waterpump can empty systen in seconds if a pipe splits/breaks,

Will search on the housing to see how common it is

Thanks mate, my coolant went down a few mil, so just keeping an eye on it, wife said she not seen any liquid under car when its been left over night etc., It runs fine, its still over the min mark in header tank and ive checked the dipstick for mayo, nothing. Maybe its because I own an MG and being paranoid lol

Good to be paranoind, always worth checking regular , mg. Mmm why could that be? Ha ha .

If you look on Ford ETIS you can enter your reg and it'll generate a maintence schedule and it'll tell you if there is any outstanding recall info.

Hi Mate, Do you have to pay to become a member on there, or do I just sign up as an independent user, etc.

Cheers

Steve
