Folding Wing Mirrors

Featured Replies

I'm going to change my wing mirrors to ones with the puddle lights already Installed. Would I just need to change the window and mirror switch unit to one that includes the button to fold the mirrors or is there more wiring needed ??

Don't most mirrors fold out automatically? The puddle lights are usually controlled by the GEM (General electrics Module) so if you're module doesn't have it programmed then you'd either have to reconfigure it or replace

There's a little button just up from the 4 way control switch for the mirrors to fold and unfold

Ah fair enough! I May have to see if that's transferable to the fiesta!!!! :)

I'm hoping its just a case of swapping them over. The wiring is usually there. Could be a case of insert a fuse to make it go. Would a mondeo switch be the same as the s-max ??

ask Mondeo owner on here post in that section
