A Thought On 3 Cylinders

My last 2 cars at one point or other had a coil pack fail but car would run on limp home mode on 3 cylinders.

Now given my ecoboost only has 3. If 1 were to fail would it manage to run on 2 ?

Hypothetical question but was just thinking about it the other day.

    It will run fine on 2. The ecu alters the firing, valve timing and fueling to compensate for a cyl loss and stil runs fairy smoothly after.

    dont try it for tooooo long. or the cat puurrr purrrr will need replacing lol
