Cd Changer In 1997 Ghia 1.8

Featured Replies

Hi all

Just got myself a one owner Ghia 1.8 1997 that has only 34k on the clock, it is as new inside with the wood dash, I am well pleased. The radio is the 5000 model t h at can control a cd changer but just says no CD when I select CD, will the lead to the changer be fitted even though t he c h anger may not have been specified when new?

Do you have a changer in it? If it wasn't specc'd with a changer I doubt very much it will have one. They are easy enough to come by though and to fit.

Hi m thanks for your reply, will probably look to fit one but no hurry as having a radio is a luxury compared to my last 50 year old car!,

It's easy to check if it's fitted, it will be in a slot at the front of the passenger seat.
