Hi guys just signed up and looking for a bit info.

I'm looking to buy my wife a 2009 3 door fiesta on Monday.

Only problem with it is a nasty dent in the tailgate and was hoping to get a straight replacement in the correct Colour to save a trip to the body shop.

Question is the tailgate from the 3 and 5 door identical or are there differences?

I have been told that the top of the tailgate where the hinge connects to the car is longer on one or the other?

Also does anyone know when the 1.4 engines require a timing belt change?

Thanks for taking the time to read and for any advice you can provide.

    Can't help with the tailgait issue. Although for other people's help in future.. mk6 3 door & 5 door tailgaits are different, as are the lights and spoiler

    But if you put visit Ford ETIS, go to vehicle and input the cars reg and you can generate a service schedule in miles and years!
