I am buying a fiesta Zetec 62 reg (2013) in the next few weeks.

I am wondering if anybody knows whether this model would have ambient lighting? I can see that the 2015 Zetec does, but does this one?

If it's the prefacelift then probably not.

Sorry yes it's the facelift model with the grill. New design. So would it have ambient lighting?

Sounds iffy to me.

I'm buying it from people's which I believe is a franchise straight from ford, the seller just didn't know on the test drive whether it has it.

Does anybody know?

Zetec should have the strip above the glovebox, possibly the lights above the door pockets but not the illuminated cupholders.

Dont worry if yours has not got it,my 2013 zetec has and i cant see the point of it.

Some spend loads of time and money adding ambient lights.

I'm very glad my ST has loads (door handles, door pockets, sills, footwell and headliner console).

I've got a 2015 Zetec - don't see the point of it either.. The passenger side glove box has a red light where as the rest of the lights are blue... Can't see the point in it?

I have it in my Tit but never really notice it (other than looking like Blackpool illuminations when you open the door [trying to flatten the battery]). More BS to go wrong IMHO.

In all seriousness, I think the red led lights in the roof help a lot to see find objects at knight like a remote for garage door, but doesn't distract from driving

I have a pre-facelift Zetec which has it. I used the menu to turn it off. I expect there are people that don't know they have it because it was turned off when they bought it. I expect some have bought it turned on and don't realise they can turn it off. I also expect some people have switched it unintentionally and returned to dealer with a "fault".

Not on fiesta. I think focus let's you change colours etc.

On the US fiesta you can change the colour, over here it's just red, they will be on all the time unless you switch them off in the vehicle settings menu.
