Hi guys I'm looking for a bit of help. I have a mondeo St and i would like some help with some sensible modifications to the car for its appearance and other things e.g. Under bonnet plastics other things like that. I'd like to keep it straight and standard but any help and advice would be greatly received. Cheers Jon.

Could get window tints? new badge colour, perhaps orange and blue? interior light changed to orange or blue? cant see the back but debadge if not done? some stickers if you're into that? its really a personal choice as its your own car but they are the sort of things that will get you noticed in my opinion. I'm literally all standard at the moment and have put window tints and a couple of stickers on my fiesta, upgraded to St seats and people notice me a lot more. Just do it how you like mate.

Is you want honest opinions or at least mine then swap the wheels. The mk3 ST is more about classy power and those wheels just dont look right. Stick a nice set of 19's or 20's on it in silver. Fast Ford magazine editor has a set of Cades Bern 20's on his blue 220 estate and it looks really good. I had a Machine Silver ST TDCi and had the diamond cut wheels polished, lowered on Eibachs and painted calipers and that looked modified but still classy. I delocked the door handle too by buying the bezel off the rear drivers door, painted it and simply swapped it over by undoing 1 torx screw under the cap on the door edge.

19's are standard on a Focus RS (sporty car) plus 19's are now an option on the new Focus ST (sporty car) and also fitted to newer Mondeos (sporty models). Im quite sure the editor of Fast Ford knows a thing or two about cars and he rates the 20's i mentioned on his Mondeo ST (sporty car) although i personally would stick with 19's.

Well tbh that picture was taken a long time ago now. I have orange and black badges on it. The interior light led's I've also started on the engine bay plastics painting them orange and candy blue to try and keep with the car. The reason I'm keeping the wheels standard and bright orange as they are is due to my job as an alloy wheel refurbisher. So I can do pretty much anything to any wheels. I've also powder coated the brakes candy blue trying to in keep with the car.

I was thinking of putting a front splitter on it and also doing a satin black angel eye conversion I have the bits but just need the time. I'm not to sure weather to change the suspension as I like the car at the height its at and the roads around me are pretty harsh and bumpy.

I'm not to sure weather changing the seats is a good idea / easy mod? Don't no if anyone can help with that.

I guess there's not much you can do for the ford mondeo St as well people don't seem to look at them as being a sporty ford like the focus' rs or St' s.

It might be an issue if you stick 18's on your fiesta but only going up 1" over standard size shouldnt pose any real problems except maybe a little ride quality due to a lower profile tyre. A good aftermarket alloy could actually be lighter than a standard smaller wheel. I dont really bother with the science behind it all, im more about the aesthetics! :)
