Blower Stopped Working, Ideas?

Ok so the fan inside the car,

Setting 1,2 and 3 stopped working around 1.5 years ago. Only setting number 4 worked.

Now the 4th option has conked as well, and I really like using the fan.

I have a Ford Fiesta Ztec Climate 2005

    The reason settings 1,2 and 3 stopped is because the resistor has burnt out. Setting 4 runs without a resistor.

    You could check the fuse first of all, but I would suggest you get a new resistor too

    Yep as above really.

    Setting 4 still goes via then resistor pack doesn't it? But there's not a resistor inline, just a solid piece of copper. Occasionally the connector for the resistor pack melts causing other issues
