Aerial Upgrade Advice

Hi Guys,

Looking at the idea of replacing the aerial but rather than replacing it with a standard ford one, I am looking to upgrade it so it has an FM and DAB splitter within it... and I dont want to spend a massive amount on it!

so I dont know if I need to remove the entire orignal aerial wiring and replace it, or if the little connector under the aerial base can just be connected to the new one? and the DAB I am looking for one that I can attach to a standard coax output, preferably with alternative connectors....

Any Thoughts?
