Has anyone tried getting a Lamborghini style gear shift plate installed, I really want it in my focus but don't know how to go about getting the plate made to fit, is it possible????

    take the gear gator off and make a cardboard template marking where each gear sits.

    cut it out so it resembles the pic above and then try it - if it fits then get one made by a fabricator!

    Easy once you have a template to work from and if you can find someone to manufacture it. Unless you have a friend who works in a machine shop it will cost a bit to get a place to make a one off. I'm waiting for a mate in work to give me dimensions for a 'short shifter' for his mk2 ST then I'll program/machine one out of aluminium for him.
