Hi, i'm new at the Ford scene. At the moment my Focus has the original stereo which is a funny, weird shape. I want to change it to the regular rectangle shape. Can I buy a surround so I can do this? I've attached a picture of what current radio looks like.

One other question, what 'Mk' is my 2007 Focus?

    Can't comment on the radio.. but technically Ford do not use the mark system. Mk is usually associated with VAGs.

    You'll find it as a mk2 or mk2.5 I believe

    It may be a late mk2 rather than a mk2.5 as they started fitting oval radios before the facelift came out.

    If the OP can post a photo of their car we can confirm.

    On topic- it's easy to fit a rectangular radio, fascia adaptors are readily available.

    If it's without the chrome lip on the bonnet then it is a mk2 (pre-facelift).

    2007 is around the time the facelift was released. As Stoney says, if the chrome strip is on the bonnet, it is a mk2.5. If not, a mk2.
