Some Advice On Seats Plse

Featured Replies

Hello Guys

I,m a newbie looking for a wee bit of advice, just bought a 12plate 1.4 Zetec and the seats are not too comfy, looking for advice on what MK on-wards of seats will fit my car(looking for back support,or hugging style)as I have a spinal problems, recommendations and places to purchase them?,any help greatly appreciated,Jnr

Anything listed for a mk7 onwards.

Recaros out of an ST are very supportive for a duff back (speaking from experience).

In the meantime an add-on lumbar or cervical pad should help (depending on the area of your spine that is the problem).

Before you spend loads on new seats, there is some good info on various websites about how to properly adjust your driving position, you'd think it's common sense but it isn't. Here's some info that helped me, you don't have to follow it 100% but it should help:

The main thing is to not have the seat reclined so you can barely reach the steering wheel, which most people seem to like doing.
