Central Locking Issues

Featured Replies

good evening ladies and gentlemen,

I have a 2004 focus c-max only the drivers door and boot open, not good with 2 small children, I have taken it in to a mechanic and he said we have an issue with the interior fusebox (a sealed module on it) he tested power entering the fb but not going to the doors.

Our mechanic rang the local stealers and was quoted £650ish for the unit and programming.

My question to you lovely bunch of knowledgable ford enthusiasts is........

If I pick up a unit from a breakers can it be RE-programmed or should I look for serial numbers and try to match them to my fusebox?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gary
