Fiesta Mk1 Brake Master Cylinder

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice or even help with a problem with my Fiesta Mk1. Me, my sister Merryn and our friend Izzy are setting off on the Mongol rally this weekend in our Fiesta Mk1, but at the last minute we've been let down by the supplier of a new brake master cylinder which she desperately needs. We can't find another one online and are getting a bit desperate! It's a 1979 model without a brake servo/booster.

Does anyone know of any similar cylinders we could get and fit at short notice? Or does anyone know someone who might have an original hidden away? Or even (probably getting a bit hopeful here) does anyone have a Mk1 fiesta currently off the road and would consider loaning us their cylinder for a couple of months (for a reasonable fee of course!).

Any help or advice would be really great.

Thanks!

Dannielle

with old motors, often you could fit a different cylinder, but you might need to modify the engine bay a little to get it to fit right.
