ok so done something i have never done before and scuffed a 4 inch gash on my alloy rim.what is the best way to make as good as new ?

a local paint shop says they can do it for £50 without taking the tyre off completely and just pop the bead and repair the rim .

the place is called spray bay at immingham.

any suggestions please,i dont want a cheap fix i want a good fix.

    Use a smart repair they come to you but expect to pay 50 as an average like said

    £50 is about average price for a wheel repair. Just be aware there is no paint code for rado grey wheel colour so it most likely won't be a perfect colour match. And ford charge £1000 a litre for the paint.

    I had mine done by fraud as it was curbed before I picked it up. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad match but it's not perfect and you can tell if you look closely. You got one of the good ones philf1 that can match by eye but there's a lot that can't. Wish fraud did mine perfect but I never expect anything now from fraud dealer. Where I got my car as they are crap to put it politely lol! So it's always best to expect it not to be perfect.
