Parking Sensors

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a 2013 Titanium X fiesta in white. It came with all the gadgets, exempt parking sensors.

My friend has the same car and their car came with parking sensors installed and their sensors are linked up through their radio display so it shows how close things are ect.

Im just wondering, if i spend the money getting them installed, would it be hooked up through the radio display?

Thanks :)

Sorry but it can't be done. Another member wanted the same thing but Ford were unable to help. I'll find the post for you in a minute.

Aw !

That has saddened me.

Its silly how they wont work with the display!!

I can also confirm that the display won't be an option with dealer fitted sensors.

Gutted !

I've got the rear sensors... and display (not that i'm rubbing it in!). But was thinking if there were a way to fit front parking sensors too? I drove a company car a few weeks ago, a MK6 golf - which had rear and front sensors... with display.

But by reading the thread Willy posted, it looks highly unlikely.

I was considering getting the parking sensors, but it's a lot of money and they don't even hook up to the display.

The front parking sensors are really cool . They have them in the company cars at work, but they are all 64 plate Mercedes...

Do you think if I bought some aftermarket ones my ford dealer would install them ? As the vision ones are expensive !!

Yep, you've seen my thread about this linked above. I will never use evans halshaw the lying ******** again but yeah sorry no after marketsmarket sensors will work with your display on the fiesta, ford dealers fit these xvision sensors http://www.xvisionsystems.com/Products/Parking-Sensors/ which you can pay for a led display to show which side your getting close to objects but its not quite like the original display version.
