Can somebody please help me out to activate my auto lights dim mirror ect. I have fitted all the bits as in light switch / new screen / sensor / white and black connected / mirror / all thats sorted then i went to ford and they were looking at a laptop scratching there heads and couldn't activate anything. Can I bring the car to someone near if poss to help me out there must be someone please regards Mike.

    You need a USB ELM327 cable with the modification of an added switch to move between MS-CAN and HS-CAN modes and a laptop.

    Use elmconfig software.

    Search this forum for a very large thread on this subject.
