Metal Squeeky Noise

Featured Replies

Today when I was in a car park I noticed that when I turn right there is a sort of metalic squeeky noise but it did it once then not again it's intermittent, I have heard it a few times when going along but it's not that loud and it's not constant I'm wondering if it's brakes or steering related everything is working well and there isn't any play in anything so any ideas would be welcome.

Sit rep next car park only seems to do it when under strain such as moving slowly up a hill with any steering lock applied, sounds like belt but I don't think it is.

If anyone else comes across this I believe it to be the the runners where the pads sit on the calliper mine is really dry and I think it's getting stuck when being released then moving back later I shall whip the wheel off and take it apart grease it and see what happens.
