Can anyone help please, I've got a 2009 1.6 petrol focus, its only done 34k, but every time you start it from cold, the engine taps really loud, like there's no oil at the top of the engine , once warm the engine goes quiet. I've given it a magnatec oil change , but it makes no difference , many thanks , rich

    mine always knocked a little! Just been serviced by main dealer, still the same, mines only done 41000 and it's done it since 37000. If it's the 100 brake 1.6 it's a old engine I believe.
