Evening all!!

I'm looking to buy a 1.0 ecoboost fiesta in titanium spec. and ideally in red (though black and white are also good). Ive looked on ford direct and parkers websites and have found a few good deals but all of them are miles away from where i am (im located in the lake district). So my questions are this... What are the odds of my dealer (pye motors in kendal, its the main ford dealer nearby) matching the price i find on ford direct? and do you have any tips for a first time buyer (websites, do's and dont's etc)?

Just keep in mind that you don't need their business they need yours.

Keep control of the situation and explain you can get it cheaper elsewhere.

If a third party dealer can do it cheaper a ford can Definitely Match Them its just a matter of you being the pushy customer and not being pushed by the pushy sales guy

I've found the cheapest prices on the Motorpoint website (is a car supermarket purchase frowned on here?). Just spent 3 days trying to negotiate with my local Bristol Street Motors dealership armed with specs and prices, but got nowhere near the Motorpoint prices. :(

I would give it a shot mate. They might go for it. . . might not, unless the car you find elsewhere is like ridic low mileage and stuff compared to the one at their forecourt.
