Bit hard to answer, as we can't see the car in question. But the best advice would be 'buy on condition'.

If she has all the old MOTs then mileage can be verified, otherwise service history, but to be honest when a car gets to that age it is far better to judge by the condition of it, not by the mileage. A D reg with 20k for example will most likely need as much work as one with 150k, as pipes will be perishing etc.

time seen car and had it up on ramp absolutely no rust at all just had a complete re spray there are three stamps in service book last one 1990 at 12181 mile then it was garaged till now
