Yes it is that bush although you are probably better off changing the whole lower suspension arm, I'm doing both sides on mine very soon.

Change the whole arm. I considered changing just the rear bushes but went for the whole arms both sides instead. Was glad in the end as the ball joint bush looked pretty worn too once the arm was off. I got both sides for £75 from a local motor factors. Ford wanted £400 supply only!

If you only change the bush and then in 6 months time the arms need replacing then they come with the bush already on them so you will have wasted your money buying the bushes on their own.

I have just bought a pair of FAI complete lower control arms for mine for £60 each side, as Wes says change the whole arm as you will no doubt be needing to replace other components like the bottom ball joint sooner or later. £340 from Ford for both sides, I would rather take my chances with after market parts.

got my lower control arms done for 200 quid at an independant ford garage. like the others said id get the whole arm.

When I worked as an apprentice mechanic, if we had fails due to bushes we'd replace the arms, less of a faff trying to press in the bushes and the job would be done a lot quicker, resulting in a smaller labour charge.

my bushes need doing, and unless I can buy the arms cheaper than the Ford quote of £750, I would be getting the bushes done on their own, as this job can be done for about £100
