just a quick question, does the optional aftermarket DAB upgrade change the stock head unit to the sony model or does it keep the standard one?

and does it affect the content on the display - will it mess with the parking sensor display, for example?

    I live in Sussex and can't get planet rock or absolute 80s half the time. USB HD is my suggestion.

    DAB unfortunately is very spotty actoss the UK.

    It's getting rather outdated now and should have been replaced by DAB+ about 10 years ago but no effort has been made to do so.

    DAB in Plymouth varies from poor to terrible from one border to the other.

    Internet radio or Spotify seem to be the best options nowadays.

    so, no real benefits whatsoever. recently the bluetooth has been acting odd, either not connecting and requiring a fuse pull, or forgetting which phone is the default phone and trying to connect only to the last phone used in the car. one time i couldn't get my phone connected, thought "sod it", went on my way, then ford sync fiona shouted "phone disconnected". somehow it had just disconnected from my mates phone who lives miles away
