Roof Rack

Featured Replies

Hi, any help would be greatly appreciated as I am about to tear my hair out. I recently changed my 13 plate, 5 door fiesta for the same model on a 64 plate ( it rolled off the line in Feb). On my old car I fitted roof bars after finally managing to dig out the plastic screws under the removable trim. I have asked several people at a couple of dealers if these bars can go onto my new car. No one seems to know the answer and when I have removed the strip to see if I can dig out the screws there does not seem to be the fixing points.

The early roof bars don't fit, the design changed after April 2013. There are no mounting points under the seal.

The newer style hooks over the roof lip and there are small holes under the lip for the retaining brackets to hook into.

The brackets is then tensioned up in the mounts before you lock the racks on.
