I have just got a MKIII Focus and one of the firse things that I noticed was that there was a reflection from the silver suround of the dashboard air vent which showed up in the drivers door mirror.

Has anyone else noticed this, and is there a fix. I have thought about either spraying the silver with paint or covering it with matt black tape but to do this neatly the vent would have to come out, is this easy or not.

    It's the same in my Fiesta too. Wear polarized sunglasses and it will make it dissapear.

    It's just bad design which ought to have been noticed before the vehicle details were finalised.

    I have just discovered that it's only the Tit, and TitX that have the silver detail round the vents, other models are all black. Something about an own goal. !!
