hi,we have a ford focus 2008 1.6 tdci hatchback

and there is water coming in boot and filling up the tyre bay

any idea to solve please

there was a post on here not long ago it say check around the vents the silicon is shot on most

Water often gets in around the bolts attaching the spoiler to the tailgate. Use the search facility here and/or your chosen search engine and you'll find a number of people detailing how they have used silicon sealant to resolve.

Take the lights out and grease the seals to rule them out. My mk3 was letting water in via the rear quarter body vents behind the rear bumper. Removal and then silicone sealant fixed that nice and easy. Check if its leaking when operating the rear screen wash too.

Was the cavity behind the vent wet? That was were it was filling up on mine and then spilling over into the boot.

Spot on.I noticed a trickle at the bottom of the vent and it soon floods and overflows.
