6000cd

Featured Replies

I've just brought a 58 reg focus and it has a 6000cd unit in it and it's got the green and red phone symbols on it and I've tried to connect my iPhone 4 to it via Bluetooth but it won't find the head unit and I've looked through the the menu and can't find Bluetooth on there and the aux plug is broken. Any ideas please ?

Unfortunately just because the radio has phone symbols on it doesn't mean you have bluetooth fitted.

On your car the bluetooth module would be a seperate box bolted up under the dash.

Concerning your aux, is it the actual plug in the glovebox that's physically broken or is that intact but nothing going to the radio?

If it's the socket itself I'll dig up the part number for you and how to remove the old socket (not easy unless you know how).

The phone unit also acts as a mute button in the lower model units, where Bluetooth doesn't exist
