Hey guys just a question im having issues with my focus new to forum :)



1 speedo not working getting error on dash d123 d041 d263 on test mode


2 slight misfire / hesitation on low gears at low revs ( kangaroo )


3 when cluch is put it revs dont drop for afew seconds sometime a slight increese in revs


4 engine light is on


are all thes problems related >? to the speedo not working

Highly likely it's a failed speedo sensor (VSS).

It is a common fault and will throw up all manner of annoying problems.

They can be a pig to remove but totally doable with patience and a good pair of maul grips.

Replacement sensors are less than £20 with a new pin on ebay (pin is essential as the old one will get mangled)
