NemesisRouge
Hi, I've recently bought a Fiesta, first car, the radio in it is a Ford 6000 CD (Picture here). If I buy this one to replace it will it fit, will I need to buy anything extra to go with it and will I be able to install it myself? I've got zero experience with this sort of thing.

GingerFlame
Hi Kieran, it's Kieran ;) aha Sorry to be a pain but I'm half asleep at the minute as I leave town at 3am for Ford fair. I'll get back to you Monday night with a reply and links! Meanwhile you could have a read of my build log. My audio "section" is mostly towards the beginning

I've called Halfords and they reckon it'll take them an hour or two so I'd probably end up travelling around with the radio hanging out for a month, I'll be giving it them to get it done professionally. GingerFlame
About 3 hours away. What's your budget for the headunit itself? Personally, if I was unable to do it myself, I'd pay an autoelectrician. Not halfrauds :)

Not halfrauds :) £150ish, but I'm currently looking at this one http://www.halfords.com/technology/car-audio/dab-radios-car-stereos/kenwood-kdc-bt39dab-car-stereo-with-bluetooth-hands-free Should be all done for comfortably under £200 with the trade in which I'm pretty happy with.
