Hello

I have a 2012 plate titaninam focus with allow wheels. I have noticed that the back wheel bearings gave turned a bronze/brown colour over the last few months. They were black when I purchased the car which was 18 months old at the time. The change in colour is even over both bearings, so I don't think it could be rust beacuse of this. What could be causing it? I have noticed a couple of other focus driving around have a similar problem.

The allow wheels I have are ford option fitted at time of manuafcture, there are large gaps between the spokes so could it be picking up dirt from the road?
