I have just bought a 2006 Ford Focus Estate

It is the CVT version and has the Titanium trim.

When I bought the car the dealer mentioned it had cruise control, but I can't seem to find how to work it or if it even does have it?

He said I must just push the 'set' button on the indicator stalk while driving, but doing that only changes the cars setup settings e.g changing units to metric and so on..

Could anyone tell me if this car has cruise control or not? And how to use it.

if you have cruisecontrol you will have buttons like these:

I suspect the seller has just seen set and assumed cruise is there, as you are right - that button is for trip computer interactivity...

Often they will plug the reg into a universal system which more often than not is based on the high spec models and reports it to them. I was sold a Mondeo Zetec Edge with perimeter alarm, and electic passenger seat - needless to say it doesnt :p

I suspect you have fallen foul of a seller without a clue! in which case I would argue for a partial refund as the car was not sold as described :)

I have that steering wheel but none of the controls on it like that, so I don't have cruise control!
