I have recently picked up a White - Ford Fiesta Metal

Im wanting to lower it. But not spend silly amounts.

Springs or coilovers???

Are coilovers worth saving up for or sticking some lowering springs on it?

Also what brand springs/coilovers to use? And where to buy them from.

Coilovers are the more expensive option and many makes to choose from with different rates of adjustments.

I'd recommend the Eibach Pro Kit which lowers it about 35mm all-round, and it's a Ford-approved part.

You can buy online from various retailers or direct from Ford about £135 I think? I paid a mate £80 to fit mine.

Different damping rates because you're changing the suspension struts as well as the springs.

And coilovers can be adjusted to make them harder or softer. Well, most do, not sure if the low-end cheaper ones all offer a lot of adjustability. (If that's even a word!)
