Cigarette Lighter Not Working.

The cig lighter hasn't worked in my 06 Focus since I got it earlier this year. Fuse seems to be fine. Any idea what could be the problem?

    Could be that the cable has come off the back of the socket or the socket itself has packed up.

    You can check the cable by removing the drivers side kick panel (next to clutch pedal).

    You need to pop out the plastic plug on the panel and use a torx head to undo the screw.

    Have you tried swapping the fuse for a fresh one?

    Sometimes they look fine but can be blown.
